I am wearing motocross boots for the first time riding an enduro. The main reason is the miles and exposure that I’ll be riding this year. I have put 1700 miles on a Honda CRF450RL. About 700 miles riding the Arizona back county discovery route. Then this fall I plan on attempting the Transamerica Trail (North Carolina to Oregon) approximately 5k miles.The boots fit well and are very comfortable, for long periods of time. The were easy to adjust and provide a great amount of protection for ankles and my feet, they have definitely saved me from serious injury.This boot looks great and provides a lot of protection for your feet. I really like the riding boot quality, but to be far had to return it, as i had a hard time getting them on right foot, been broken before and needed something a little bit lower to make it easier to get on.Pretty important to note that these boots are NOT Tech 7’s as stated in both the listing title and body description - they are Tech 5. I definitely thought I was purchasing Tech 7’s. That said, this would have been an extremely good price on Tech 7’s, and Tech 5’s are still very good boots, so I guess I’ll just keep em so i can get to riding rather than deal with the headache of returning and re-ordering. Knocking stars because the listing is blatantly inaccurate. Hope this is just an oversight and the seller will update the listing.I had the old tech 6's that were super comfy, and these are as well.. These tech 5's are nice, but all the plastic makes them feel cheap, though they obviously aren't. The boot is solid, protects excellently, and the inside of the boot feels fantastic on the foot. However, the black plastic used as a calf protector smears on my white number plate which is irritating. It would be nice if the calf protector was leather again.these are awesome boots. very comfortable . I wear size 10.5-11 in most shoes including echo, nike mizuno. These boots fit perfect. seller was friendly and accommodating (changed my mind on color and he was able to change the order).Tech 5 buy them, dont waste your money on anything else.i did have difficult time reaching the foot brake on klr however this is not the fault of the boots but the bikePurchased as a gift for my son loved them, they are true to size no down size needed with this boot. Purchased a 12 wears a 12 on advise from prior comments this design boot may be to tight in toe area if you go down a size as with other boots. The style is great, so far so good on durability no wet feet no smell!!!!Great boots so far. Pretty stiff to start but extremely comfy once broken in.
